Exaletian Diplomacy

So, if there any nations out there that aren't included, just post below. :)

Post here in the thread to schedule a "conference". Conferences can be done via PM or on Skype, whichever works. If we never chat with each other in Skype due to timezones, then we should probably PM. Get it? You got it? Good. :P
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key:

5 - Best possible relations
4 - Great diplomatic relations
3 - Neutral
2 - Relations could be better
1 - Friendly relations are non-existent

NEW: Having a plus, minus, or nothing after the number of a diplomatic relation symbolizes the state of the relation. If the relation is on the up swing (+), diplomatic relations are notably strong, while if diplomatic relations have been completely dormant, there will be a minus (-). No number signifies that relations are holding steady.

Typically, 1-2 trade deals will equate to a "4", and 3+ equals "5". Other events may change that weighting, though.

- green, bold - Has military alliance with nation
- purple, bold - Has trade deals with nation
- teal, bold - Has other economic interactions with nations (will be specified)
- orange, bold - Relations strained due to poor diplomacy/hurtful speech
- dark red, bold - At war/or active sanctions against

(more color-coded statuses will come )

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Top Nations:
1] Sainte Croix: 5+ (1 trade deal)
2] Cattala: 5 (2 trade deals)
3] Lower Columbia: 5- (7 trade deals)
4] Corraile: 5- (4 trade deals)
5] None

Bottom Nations:
N/A

Lord Anthony Secolo, Lord Celestine of Cattala, and Lord Monete, Chancellor of the Realm, would like to visit the Representative Democracy of Exaletas to arrange landmark economic, political and social deals between the two countries. The Regal Government of the United Kingdom of Cattala wishes to strengthen its relationship with Exaletas, and would welcome a visit to our fair shores next summer.

I've got a question, is Exaletas a Tax Haven of sorts? with a High Upper Class population?

Actually, there are not many upper class Exaletians, at all. Until the industrialization by the Shudonese, Exaletas was practically all subsistence farmers.

Now, with industrialization, we can see income disparity start to show up, but it will still be a while until we are in that state.

ok. I was taking Exaletas for a Tax Haven for a bit for various reasons and was going to open a Kilburn Dealership but if it's mostly farms, I'd like to open a Carne dealership in your Largest City instead.

Okay, sure; sounds great! Any other specifics of the trade deal from my side or yours?

If you have any car companies, they're welcome in Meridiania, and I hope this will lead to better future relations. :)

No car companies at least for now, and our relations have changed, will modify that. :)

An association of Lower Columbian companies is interested in assisting in the industrialization of Exaletas. Since this group is not under government direction, there would be no Lower Columbian military presence in your nation. Please let me know if your government is interested in working with our companies.

--Ambrogio Fulham, Minister of Commerce, Federal Kingdom of Lower Columbia

On behalf of the welfare of the Representative Democracy of Exaletas, we would be thrilled to house some of Lower Columbia's businesses. Please let us know the details of any Lower Columbian industry interested in setting up shop in our nation.
