Day 0- Opening Ceremony

Postby Wacky32 » February 20th 2012, 12:02 am

Btw, I still have paint, I will do my best out of this. :)

WELCOME TO THE V AIN WINTER GAMES HOSTED BY LINKTORIA!

Image

Bill: Hello everyone, this is Bill St. Louis along with Mark Stewart to bring you amazing coverage at the Opening Ceremony.

Mark: Yes Bill, the ceremony is just about to start. This is the first ever international competition that the Athletic Country is hosting and it is promised to be a good one!

Bill: You bet Mark, as 80,000+ people anxiously wait for the start of these games. There is a lot of event and festivities going on during the games. One of the stories is of course the hockey teams. Half of the team went to Rorysville for the Simylmpic Games and the other half stayed in Linktoria as some U-21 players were even called up. As Barret Egohetz is in Rorysville, the one to lead the men's team here is the young Maxime Lacriox, he looks very promising as he hopes to lead the home country to a gold medal.

Mark: Well Bill, the countdown clock is now reaching 60 seconds until it begins!

Stadium announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the V Alliance Games hosted by Linktoria! Linktoria is proud of hosting this Union-wide event and with that we lead off with the Linktoria National Marching Band playing the Linktoria Anthem.

Stadium announcer: And now we lead you with a performance by Linkin Park!

Bill St, Louis: Ladies of Gentlemen, we present you a show created showing Linktoria's journey to where we are now with the song by SoarinFlight called Above Cloudsdale appropriately renamed Above Linktoria.

Bill: Wow, the effects are truly amazing. It reminds me of what they did in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The blue sky and clouds represent a new start when Linktoria claimed independence from the United States in 2010.

Mark: The next theme is building as you can see a hiker climbing a mountain. The dancer is one of Linktoria's best, Michelle Slaughter.

Bill: Yep, here's Improvement. Linktoria wasn't looking well, but then Linktoria started to look much better that's why it shows a beautiful city skyline, which is of course Linktoria City.

Mark: As the song kicks in the floor has Linktoria's flag waving showing, Glory. We have made it all this way. Linktoria has made it to hosting this event.

*Music Ends*

Mark: Wow, fantastic show. That was beautiful!

Bill: It sure was Mark and now it's time for a message from the head of the AGF, Jo.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the entire AIN. It is pleasure to give Linktoria the hosting rights to this competition. This country has been up-and-coming for a while now and I knew Lintktoria was the place to be. I hope you enjoy these games and good luck to all the competitors in these Games!"

Mark: Looks it's President Alex Gray ready to make a statement.

Bill: It sure is Mark as the entire stadium is cheering as he enters the stage.

"Wow… just wow. This is amazing. It is truly an honor to be hosting one of the biggest Union-wide events ever the AIN Games. I like to thank Jo for giving this wonderful country hosting right. I'm happy you all came along for the ride fellow Linktorians. I want every single Linktorian to have the greatest two weeks ever. I'm glad every country is here. Thank you Linktoria and I hope you enjoy the Games."

Bill: We have one more performance by Van Halen performing "Dance the Night away"

Bill: We now introduce all the AIN Games participating.

Bill: As we close out the AIN Games, we'll leave you with a fantastic fireworks show.
