It is possible that Hadi requested Saudi Arabian intervention; however, Hadi's government is currently only in control of the eastern sparsely-populated portion of Yemen. The Saudi airstrikes have so far involved bombarding densely-populated Houthi-controlled cities such as Sana'a, the capital.

Yes. :P Obviously, the list doesn't reflect the Septemtrian government's ideal relations with other UN states, however many of those relations were forced by the need for trade...

So? He is the rightful president of the country, he has every right to call for help. Not to have his own territories bombed, but those who are attempting to overthrow him. However, i, too, believe air strikes are the wrong method, killing too many civilians

Hadi isn't even in Yemen right now, he fled to Saudi Arabia. And so far, it's only the Saudi government claiming that Hadi asked them for help. Regardless, this is a military intervention that is resulting in many deaths, as you said.

:O :shake:
The... workers one of course... :$ :(

There is one thing the "political elite" of the Atlantic Federation (The Centrists of the Veratlantian Republic and the Mainland Federal District) dread more than Socialism (please read Marxism-Leninism)...

Religion. :worried:

There are no Federal-Law backed religious holidays in the Atlantic Federation. :| Which makes it so Christmas, for an example, is a holiday in only 5 out of the 7 Republics. New Oren and the Veratlantian Republic go even further as to having no Nation-State backed religious holidays. In the Atlantic Federation, Christmas is celebrated at midnight 24th of December, when people gather for a family & friends supper where millions upon millions of secular youngsters feel awkward hearing their grandparents talking about the important of Jesus Christ for Humanity. In many of the major cities of the AF, mainly in the Veratlantian Republic, the 25th of December is a normal work day which people show up to work a bit later than usual.

So yeah, May 1st is the Workers' Day in the Atlantic Federation because of you Reds. And in a considerable part of it, it stands a holiday while Christmas doesn't.

|( There you have it.

Now let me go hide in shame. ;(

Lol. Poor AF is ashamed that 1 out of the 365 days is dedicated to its workers. I CRI EVERTIM.

In case you forgot, Spy, 1 May is also special in Septemtrionale in that it is the anniversary of the founding of the Septemtrian Federation of Councils. ;)

FOREIGN AFFAIRS UPDATES

The workers' government of Septemtrionale is in solidarity with the black workers of Baltimore, USA who have rebelled in response to the injustices against their communities. Our government condemns the perpetual human rights violations by the United States against their minority communities and hopes for an investigation into the death of Freddie Gray. We remind the American workers in despair that there is hope for a society where workers are not executed on the streets for their color and where police and armies are not deployed to block protestors.

The workers' government of Septemtrionale sends its condolences to the Nepalese families who have lost loved ones in the recent magnitude-7.8 earthquake near Kathmandu. Our government has donated $15 million USD in financial assistance in addition to dispatching 110 medical workers and various medical supplies. We hope for a speedy reconstruction in the capital city of Kathmandu and its surroundings as this disaster has greatly affected the population through the destruction of infrastructure and will greatly worsen the living standards as it is prolonged.
