Alliance Grand Prix Series - Applications, Tracks, Cars

Post by simsamerica » September 12th 2014, 5:23 am

The Alliance Grand Prix Series is a formula racing championship starting up this Fall! It will hold two seasons a year.

TEAMS
Team Name/Nationality
Engine Supplier
Lead Driver/Car Number/Nationality
Second Driver/Car Number/Nationality
Test Driver(s)/Nationality(s)
Car Name
Team Budget
Team Livery and/or sponsors (Optional)

The reason i'm including Budgets is because there is a vast disparity in the front of the grid and the back of the grid and as far as lap times go, it seems time does equal money. Im not sure the exact numbers today but I know a few years back McLaren and Ferrari were spending in the 400 million range, while the lower teams like Midland and Super Aguri were spending in the 60-80 million range.

The Team Livery bit. I plan to include pictures in the race updates, as a result i'd like to have liveries, i'll be taking the pictures in iracing. I've linked a picture of what a screenshot might look like. I can do up a custom livery with sponsors as well, actually might be easier for me. If provided I also need the logo's to go with, or you to say for me to make them, which I can do.

RACES
Race Title Native/English
Circuit Name
Track Length
Circuit/Town

Images can be substituted with Maps, Track Descriptions, or if your country overlaps with the location of a real life track, and that track still holds the characteristics of the real track, then just the name of the track is sufficient

iRacing Screenshots. Also I have full camera control so I can take nearly any shot I like.

I'd love to enter, but I'd feel it'd be unrealistic for my nation... but again I don't would it be?

I think it can be done Alex, I mean just pop in a street circuit as it's pretty much the cheapest for a nation to set up (and we need one for the calendar ;) I simply ADORE street circuits). Plus you have Histalian heritage x3 Of coarse you will be big into racing xD

Well you could always have your nation based in Britain or something. I mean with the exception of Ferrari and McLaren all the current teams are actually based in Oxfordshire, and McLaren is based a little closer to London, but they fly a different flag usually. I mean there's a Romanian Team coming up, there was a Malaysian team in recent years. If you can have one guy back it, and get sponsorship abroad, then there isn't much reason not to I think. As for the race, idk. I mean there's been some poorer countries that have hosted in recent years. Correct me if i'm wrong but Nyanga has a pretty high GDP for Africa? It's like an African Monaco or Singapore? Both of which presently have races if I may add...
