Of course, i'm jealous. I was quite close to bringing it home another time until the almost very end. It's not a secret that i participate to win and not to finish second.. so, yes i am jealous, but i called it a few months ago. Khaled had the potential to win it, and the song did. Congratulations Emir, after our presidential battle, you managed to beat me again...
Yeah I figured SCX would win this one as soon as he posted the song, since it has broad appeal. You don't need to get the most 12 pointers to win, you just need to be really consistent with the top 5 votes. Plus my gut feeling has never been wrong about this, it correctly picked K&B, NWF & now SCX as the winners.
I would have loved to get 2nd place though, it's the best possible spot without having to host it again. Not that it wasn't great to host, it's just quite a bit of work - work that is best shared around as much as possible.

Don't do it Otto, it's a trap! The Communists will have them executed if they make even the smallest mistake singing it.

Yeah I didn't even get a single 10 pointer, which is very disappointing as I felt I had a pretty solid song. Oka recognized us with an 8 pointer at least, much love for Oka. But as I said to Otto, it's not really about getting the most 12-pointers, it's more about being consistent. I don't mean to kill the silver-lining for you though, just an observation.
