Well, it turns out, it's not that self-evident, is it? :P

All you have to do is write a single sentence saying "Nations may not vote for their own acts." Not that difficult, yanno.

I agree with Otto, I think that would have been self-explanatory. :P

It shouldn't be a question of debate, it's guiding users to vote correctly. :P Obviously, some members are not aware of the rule and have deemed it appropriate to vote for their own acts.

It's a single sentence to add, I don't understand why you guys are so against adding it. :P

I'm not "so against" it, I just don't see why it is necessary to spell it out.

I'm pretty sure it was at the top of the voting paper, anyway, it's certainly not Otto's fault. :P

Now, how many more votes are still to come?

It apparently was on top of the voting paper. :P Sorry, Otto...

Still, more warnings don't hurt. You want to place as many warnings as possible (instead of expecting people to know, no matter how obvious it is) to reduce accountability.

eight nations left to vote.

We have a clear leader at the moment, but i wouldn't bet on that, we already had one yesterday leading by 30 points and that nation has now dropped to third place... sooo. It could be one of the closest races ever... :P And all three top spots are from the same worldwide region. So, have your guesses. :P

I really don't think handing out teasers like that is a good idea Otto. Based on my own voting and what you've just said I think I know exactly which countries are in the lead.

Cattala 2013 was crazily close for 95% of the voting. At one point I think it was four countries separated by three points or something silly like that? So it's quite likely there will be close results again, I reckon.

Well, I have not said anything for certain. And i won't.

And i didn't give away any certainties, it's still open and any of the first 15 places could still jump into the lead.. :P

----------

Still awaiting votes from following countries:

Atlantic Federation
Goverland
Hiigara
Hong Kong
Karasem
Leeonia
Melanesia
Okatabawashi

So, this means, @Spy9600, @Piterdaw1, @Hiigar, @Gregor, @976, @IRE505 and @aranho, i still need your votes.

Otto: You get mad at me for hinting, but you yourself hint three countries. :P There is only one region with only three countries and we already know they have awesome songs.

Well, to make it clear to you, i don't want people to say who they voted for. You hinted so obviously that no one could have misunderstood it.

I however only give you vague ideas. I know who everyone thinks to be in the top three, however we do have a few other regions on the world we we accumulate a lot of singing power on a small area.
