Sorry to hear that Otto .. I was looking forward to a debate between you and Ying .. but if you won't be about then I hope you consider running in the future, I think over the past few months the Ministry for Culture, Arts and Sport has been the most active since I've been a member of the site.

Also sorry to hear you won't run Thomas, I always looked forward to the activity and creativity you bring to the ministries.

If no one else applies I will stand for MEAT as there is still many projects, treaties, laws, events and ideas I wish to propose, enact and simplify that I didn't get time to do previously.

Good luck to everyone running, some fresh faces in the ministries will hopefully spur even more activity around the place.

I'm now back from my internship and will be taking over as Election Commissioner from Will, who actually wants to participate in the election. Thank you to Will for running it until now and I will open campaigning tomorrow morning.

Anyone who is "on leave" during August but will be back to full activity next month is welcome to send me a manifesto that I can post on behalf of them, if you wish to run but may not have the time to post and vote whilst you are away.

Campaigning is now OPEN.

You can now use campaign signatures and avatars across the AIN and I encourage you all to post manifestos and objectives, even if you are running unopposed. To have a clear vision for what you want to achieve is the best way to actually be successful as a Minister.

Best of luck to you all, and voting will open in just 10 days time!

You now have just two days left to campaign. After that, all signatures and avatars must be taken down and your campaign threads will be locked.
Best of luck to everyone!
