Closing Statements

Postby Thomas » June 26th 2012, 11:07 am

Ministers, Ladies and Gentlemen. Many of you have travelled from thousands of kilometres away - some, just a few kilometres across the seas. But we'd like to thank you, one and all, for participating in this vital summit over the past three weeks. So many important topics have been discussed and issues that affect all the citizens of our union have been debated and in many areas, resolved. It's been our privilege to host you here in Celeste and I do hope that you all enjoyed your stay, saw the sights and visited our great city. Thank you.

Her Grace, Queen Alexandra the Fifth, Sovereign of Greater Cattala and Princess of Roumeli, Protector of the Realm, Duchess of Aliastone and Dame Spiritual of the Faith

Thank you, Your Grace. I know from being involved in this summit that so many important things have been agreed upon here in our Parliament building over the past few weeks. It's crucial for the future stability of the global economy that meetings such as this one are productive. If we are to have any chance of securing the future vitality and growth of all economies, from Shushtrepistaz in the east to Lower Columbia in the west, we must ensure that we continue the great work started here in Celeste. If not for ourselves, but for the hundreds of millions of ordinary people that live within our countries and depend on us to provide strong leadership and governance over their lives. As you head off back to those citizens, let's make sure that we all strive to fulfil the goals set out in Cattala. Thank you, and good luck.

The Loyal Lord of Celestine, Lord Anthony Secolo MA

I'd like to thank all of you who participated in the summit this month. The outcome so far has been very positive and the changes that are going to be introduced will benefit the union, its activity and members, for many months if not years to come. Several members really stood out in their participation of this summit. Kevin produced excellent, detailed and well-written accounts from his government's perspective, which were very beneficial to the summit and the ideas he came up with were magnificent. Ggamgus participated in every single thread of the summit and his commitment was second-to-none, so thank you very much to him for all the comments and suggestions he made during the summit.

Over the next few weeks you will be seeing changes that were approved at this summit taking place in the Ministry and across the forums. Now I leave you back where we started: Alder Hill, the home of Cattala's Parliament building, where this summit began. :)

The Delegation of the federal Republic of Corraile would like to extend its gratitude to the United Kingdom of Cattala for undertaking such a productive and useful summit. We would also like to commend the fact that this particular summit was well-run, with meetings starting and ending on time with proper resolution. On the whole, the planning and execution of this summit exceeded our expectations and certainly allowed for us to further broaden our views with regards to the policies and organisations that were debated throughout this Summit. Once again, we thank Cattala for extending an invitation to the Federal Republic of Corraile to attend and participate in this Summit.

We look forward to many more years of active cooperation with Cattala.

The UDR Carrancia and Juliannabourg government would also like to thank the United Kingdom of Cattala, for hosting a summit dedicated to improve economies, improve international trade, and create stronger ties throughout the AIN. The city of Celeste and the Cattalan government have created a wonderful summit which has transcended our expectations. The organization and planning of the summit were excellent and has certainly set an example for future summits. We hope to achieve better relations with the United Kingdom of Cattala in the future.

The Delegates from the Republic of Yucatan truly appreciate the undertaking of this beneficial, advantageous and profitable summit; it had an outstanding planning and was extremely well done. Even though the Yucatec Delegates weren't too vociferous, we enjoyed hearing the opinions and thoughts of our other delegate friends. This summit excelled our expectations and will allow us to enlarge our economies in the Alliance. Again, we praise Cattala for allowing our Government and Delegates to be present in this splendorous summit.

Manuel Ernesto Méndez Aquino, Secretary of Economy from the Republic of Yucatan.
Diego Rivera Cajeb, Secretary of Foreign Affairs from the Republic of Yucatan.
His Excellence Jorge Palacio Martínez, President of the Republic of Yucatan.
