Cancún | The Glistening City

A paradise in and of itself, Canún is loaded with things to do. At first its the beach that draws us... But the Paradise doesn’t end there. Offering fine cuisine through a vast assortment of international restaurants, and also possessing many luxurious hotels, a thrilling nightlife, excellent shopping at the many duty-free malls, and artisan markets where bartering is the key to a cheap price, Cancun is the place to be. This city is also the jumping off point for exploring the ancient, mysterious world of the Mayans. For nature-lovers, there is the wonder of the world’s second largest barrier reef, and numerous freshwater cenotes provide incredible snorkeling and diving. Exciting, exotic, slow or fast, diverse and fun, Cancún has something to offer everyone.

Cancún's hotels deliver the best of two worlds – the Caribbean and Yucatan. The hotels in Cancún are mainly located in the Hotel Zone, a 17 mile stretch of beach with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea on one side and the ink blue waters of the Nichupte Lagoon on the other.
Wherever you stay in the Cancún Hotel Zone you will always have an ocean or lagoon view. There are over 32,000 Cancun hotel rooms catering for everyone from the couple looking for a romantic luxury hotel to the downtown hotels for the budget traveler. Cancún's hotels offer a choice of all-inclusive and European plans so you can choose what is best for you.

Whether you want to dance the night away in one of Cancún's nightclubs or spend a relaxing evening with friends in one of the many bars, the nightlife in Cancún will never disappoint you. An eclectic selection of music fills the evening air and the Cancún's nightlife takes to the streets until the sun comes up.

This is brilliant (a great idea) :D

But, the reason why there is no vegetation on taxiways issss... because they're an airplane hazard. :P

I can imagine the administration canceling all flights for several hours to clean all that up...
