MAJOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS
These airports can handle Airbus A380, Boeing 747 and other larger planes.

Kaijo Shouzo Nijimura International Airport (KJT | RTAA)
First-class Airport
Named after a Teikonian sengoku period daimyo Shouzo Nijimura, KJT is the busiest airport in the country in terms of passenger and cargo traffic. It serves as the major international gateway to Kaijo Metropolis which has a population of more than 12 million people. Currently there are plans to relocate the airport near Kaijo Bay. The plans include building an artificial island, building four runways and six terminals, the total project is expected to cost at US$10 B.
Runways: 2 (3,810 m & 4,000 m)
Passenger Traffic: 44,502,425
Hub for Teiko Airways, Rakuzan Pacific and Rakuzan Air

Rakuzan International Airport (RKZ | RTCC)
First-class Airport
The second busiest airport in the country. It serves as the major gateway to Rakuzan Metropolis, the second largest city in the country. It is also the most popular among tourists and mountain climbers since Kiyoshi Range, Teiko's popular mountain climbing site is just a few kilometers away from the city.

Passenger Traffic: 20,851,126
Hub for Teiko Airways, Rakuzan Pacific and Rakuzan Air

Tetsuya Kuroko International Airport (TSY | RTBB)
First-class Airport
Named after the first Prince of Teiko, it is the third busiest airport in the country. It is the main gateway to the federal capital of the country, Tetsuya.
Runways: 2 (3,500 m & 3,500 m)
Passenger Traffic: 10,365,459

Akamayu Toyohisa International Airport (AMY | RTEE)
First-class Airport
The southernmost airport in the country. This airport lies just south of Sakurajima, the second largest and most active volcano in the country. The airport is named after Kuroko Toyohisa, a sengoku period daimyo famed for the introduction of firearms and Christianity to the country.

Passenger Traffic: 8,128,657

OTHER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS
These airports can handle Airbus A380, Boeing 747 and other larger planes. These airports are popular for international and domestic tourists and is normally busy during Golden Week and other holidays.

Aokuro Tachibana International Airport (AKT | RTDA)
Second-class Airport
Runways: 1 (3,100 m)
Passenger Traffic: 8,028,459

Dojimazaki International Airport (DJZ | RTGG)
Second-class Airport
Runways: 1 (3,100 m)
Passenger Traffic: 6,123,852

OTHER COMMERCIAL AIRPORTS
These airports are purely for domestic transport only. These airports cannot handle A380 or Boeing 747.

Hamada International Airport (HMD | RTAB)
Second-class Airport
This airport used to handle international flights but now, all international flights are diverted to KJT due to unsafe location and failure to expand runways and terminal buildings due to environmental protection.

Kanzawa Airport (KZW | RTHH)
Second-class Airport
Plans for expansion to accommodate international airports underway.

These airports located off the main island of Daichi and are operating in irregular basis. These airports are purely for domestic transport only. These airports cannot handle A380 or Boeing 747.
