@Liberater444: Perhaps it would be easier to move Acijnstan to Southern Pakistan or Northeast Oman? I need that coastline too...:/

Honestly, I don't think that's an option.

Acijnstan has been active in Tirnreich and Union roleplay (the former for much longer than the latter) for well over 2 years. The events that lead up to and progressed through the Acijnstan Campaign helped jump-start the Tirnreich's military and spawned the Imperialism ideological shift of the Tirnreich. As such, the colony of Jumaania would not have been acceded to the Tirnreich's Empire had a distress signal not been intercepted by a Tirnlander-operated ship on the way to bulster Tirnlander forces in Acijnstan. (As documented: http://aoin.darkbb.com/t1233p45-imperial-chronicle)

Not only has Acijnstan been in Union and Tirnreich canon and roleplay for years, but there is evidence on this site that the country is claimed as a dependency of the Tirnreich, and occupied by its forces. (viewtopic.php?f=74&t=65) Obviously, somewhere along the line those in charge of the application process did not realize, or probably forgot, that the Tirnreich occupies, and needs, Acijnstan in its properly recorded position.

The position of Acijnstan is also historically accurate considering real-life events; from 1967-1990, Yemen was split into North Yemen (Yemen Arab Republic) and South Yemen (People's Democratic Republic of Yemen). South Yemen, which actually consisted of most of the Eastern portion of Yemen, was a single-party Socialist state; Acijnstan, which historically is a revolutionary republic rejuvenating Arabic socialist ideals, is based off South Yemen, as it too is a socialist Arabic emirate.

I don't mean to be rude or inhospitable, but Acijnstan and her coastline are well documented far back into the history of the Union, and I'm not comfortable or realistically "able" to move the country.

I suggest you two continue negotiations through PM, rather than publicly. :)

The solution? A wide river which forms the natural border between Acijnstan and Atlantsia (~20 mile width) and empties out in the Gulf of Aden. That way Acijnstan retains it's maritime capabilities and Atlantsia can keep it's location.

Sorry to butt in, but perhaps a bay? Maybe move Atlantsia (?) slightly south.

I'd agree with Stan that a bay would be better than a river in that region. Although I think the part of Atlantsia that over laps could be dismantled and turned in to a series of islands spreading towards the horn of Africa.
Coming soon, new information.

Like I said, I think that it should be left to 100000000 and Geoff to negotiate...
